Does that not refer to the Greek concept?

The OP is going to have to elaborate upon what he means by demon.
im using demon as I am the demon who is holding me back, I am the demon who is pushing me down, I am the demon who is hurting me, I am the demon that’s going to make me fail in the end. I have some mental illnesses so the demon is kind of the mental illnesses in my head that trouble me. Like an evil entity that follows me but turns out to be apart of me. I tried to describe it in different ways if that helps at all. Thank you sm

Classical authors use dæmon, onis usually in a more neuter connotation, meaning both a good or an evil genius, while Christians use it mostly with a bad connotation. You can stick with dæmon, onis or even use its composite & (more) uncommon form cacodæmon, onis (κακός + δαίμον = lit. "bad, evil dæmon").

Daemonium meum sum is another option.
