A Bob Marley song lyric, drawn from a quote of Haile Selassie (pictured with his pet Cheetahs!), would seem apposite right about now.
It was part of a longer sentence, but I’ve shortened it to:

“The colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes.”

Any of you talented linguists happy to have a go at this one?

Am I right in thinking that this is referring to “the colour” of the eyes/skin, rather than it belonging to a person?
