Τέλος δὲ ἀθυμεῖ ὁ παῖς καὶ καταβαίνει τὸ ὄρος.

in this sentence the word "Τέλος" in which case is it? I say this because "ὁ παῖς" it's in nominative and I don't know if "Τέλος" can be nominative too, and if it can, how the sentence could be translated?

It's an adverbial accusative (Τέλος is neuter).
