thank you. went on the link you sent me, by that it seems like it means fire, so i have posted a message in the "english to latin" forum asking what fire means, just to see if they come up with the same answer! thank you for your help! x

Ka is not a Latin word. It comes from the ancient Egyptian, if I am not mistaken. Fire in Latin is either ardor or ignis.
