Either "life made me (what I am)" or "the world made me (what I am)."

Something short with "me fecit" would be great, if possible (mundus me fecit?)

As always, I am submitting myself to your expertise...

"Life made me", with the words you said you'd like to have (which are fine) would be vita me fecit.

Mundus me fecit might be OK depending what exactly you mean by "the world". Romans from the time of Cicero would usually have taken mundus as the universe, more to do with nature than with the people on earth.
